the firmans
in our usual disoriented spontaneous ways
decided early today to have our customary tradition
a birthday dinner for amir
so off we went all dressed up
and found ourselves in the unexpectedly majestic marriot putrajaya
we settled down at a tuscanian restaurant
whr i was unfortunate enuff to have devoured an appetizer of scallop pate
quite a mouthful, might i add 
the place was gorgeous, though
and a filipino two-piece played us a song and even a round of happy birthday
i was awestruck by the cello!
 !!
thats sumthing i might want to try sumday`
and we sang our own lil happy birthday
whilst adik blows the solitary candle
on the complementary slice of tiramisu..
hihi
it was a great night tho
having all the people i love most around me
passing spoonfuls just so everyone gets a taste of what everyone else is having
but i think what made me feel like a princess
was being able
to wear a black velvet skirt with sneakers
and get away with it
so yeah, i felt a million dollars

i think
that the best things in life
are the surprises
the ones u expect the least
today i had so much fun
i never thot a day could be packed with so much fun stuff
it even makes me smile when i think about it
it was a pretty last minute decision
even two days beforehand
dun and i were contemplating the venue
for our get-together
okay, date..
in the end we decided to go ice-skating
honestly?
i thot u'd be crappy at it, dun..
considering i fell 10 times
the first time i went into the rink
all those years ago
but u were a natural!
yer, yer...
flatlander.. i knoe..
anyways it was so much fun, wasn't it?
mebbe its the fuschia gloves
haha satu ketat satu longgar..remember?

and i admit thrs nuthing quite like

that was hilarious and so very kalut
but i luved how the piXx turned out
and the drive back..
the awkward silence
now we knoe what that was all about..

this is waaay overdue!
anyways after many, many cancellations
sab n i managed to wrangle a trip to jln tar
for a spot of tudung shopping`
*finally!*
anyways with sab's cuzz suraya
and bayya tagging along
it spells a day of fun!
cool bits would be
buying a minimum of 5 tudungs each`
i even bought a kain for raya lols`
endless picc snapping
of rivers, staircases and funny signs..
on the way home i even managed to snap a rainbow!
hope that turns lucky`

ONE day before it actually happens
and the crowd was huge~
so kudos for everyone who turned up

basically people i know
and people i dont
collide in the most uneventful circumstance

well..
it was a sleepover like no other
initially there were plans for the reunion
to start at 5
and thr being D.I.Y and self-pampering moments
and ice skating
and movie trips
but alas
things never go as planned!
anyways
for starters sureen was not thr
coz of her explorace-ish adventure
which kinda ruined the effect
coz the sleepover was underb!atched
so whut happened was
i only arrived at about 9 pm
coz i was at the pc fair in klcc
and it kinda cascaded into an array of unpredicted activities
anyways we started with a word game
sumthin like boggle
but we made our own rules
dat was super fun
speshly when shadzie came in
n when we found stupid words like poo and tit
after supper at tanjung
all of us
namely hanzie, moi, shadzie, daveena n cia ee
[oh-so-muhibah, might i add?]
we spent bout an hour at sjmc
coz hanzie was feelin unwell 
and we accompanied her to see the dr
and so
upon arrival back at hanzie's place at 2-ish
we chatted till only dav remained awake..
huhu
and the morning?
haha the morning started at 10
and since cia ee caught hanzie's bug
we had two sick laydees and apparently a whole day in for all of us!
   
huhu
anyways it was great fun havin brunch outside the hse
nasi lemak in their respective styrofoam containers
and buying ice-cream from the ice cream man!
and watching desperate housewives!
aunty and us gurls found dat super nice..
we spent the remnants of our lazy afternoon watching x-men
and just fooling around
all in all, a nice sleepover
wudn't say it was perfect
but has it ever been?
thnx to terra and my three luvly frens for a great tyme

my 13 good luck charms~

sorry for the confusion~
i actually concocted a super-long blog on todays entry
but due to negligence
i lost all of it
*sigh*
so anyways here i go again`
and hopefully ill b a lil more careful this time..
hehh
its truly is a long, long story
but i'll just give u the gist of my day
ayah and i left for GHKL in the morning
just so we cud (1) get my first year texts in the infamous kamal bookstore
and the funny thing was (2) i forgot whether i switched off the iron at home
which leads to another relatively irrelevent short story
consisting mostly of false alarms
and fire engines
and (3) mak witnessing a car accident..
anyways we met up with akak in sungei wang
after she finished her (4) TOEFL test at jln sultan ismail
hence (5) the three of us dined at the new delifrance bistro
and did sum picture taking
and delighted in the fact that (6) we had distinctly different reading materials..
hehh..
afterwards, akak and i did a spot of shopping
and i bought (7) my first pair of sneakers in almost two years`
hahha
and i also saw a ( shop full of pink things
bags tops shoes etc
it was all pink!
i cud just swim in that stuff..
huhu
so this is where things started to turn sour tho
(9) there was a tear in the bag that carried 2 of my textbooks
so we had to be super careful not to rip it
and on the way home
ayah got himself (10) stuck between the komuter's doors
and sort of injured his arm
and akak and i [who made it into the train]
had to (11) wait bout 45 mins for him to arrive in the next train
but the best part, of course, was the end
where (12) we sat for dinner
and (13) shared the funniest and most poignant stories
one of us grimaced;
some of us cried;
but all of us laughed..
coz we loved this love
and i love this family`
so thr u have it:

weee~
after much poyo-ness
i just got back from yet another camp
this time in astana dugang, dengkil
after KRIM, i thot i wud knoe whut to expect
but IMAM camp was totally different!
it was fun in a way
i had killer roomates
met the same ole gila2 people..
shaQ
madihah
even met jihan..
the seniors are so unlike whut i thot they were
guys with long-ish hair and stuff
kinda, well..
unexpected
but cool in its own unique way
anyways most memorable bits wud be the time when i cudn't sleep
coz the kmb gurls havoc gle dlm blik until 2 am..
mua ha ha
and the time i got cudn't open the door to rum 12 until bout 10 mins of twisting and turning locks..
hehh
the place was nice
the speakers were great
evrything was cool
basically whut i learnt from the camp
wud be da fact dat
u shudn't really judge sumone from the way they look or act
and dat
the possibilities are endless
n i don't see the end
yeay~

its both a good and bad thing..
when i start having reasonably serious conversations with ayah over dinner at the kedai nasi padang..
or silently dismissing one of the entertainment shows on tv..
and watching penarik beca whilst commenting on how unusually wrong the grammar was in those days
*sigh*
i'm turning old, aren't i?

trotting past memory lane`

|
bout a few days back
mak decided to clear up one of our storage areas
just to make more room to fit all the cars in our porch
and so
she stumbled upon some khazanahs [so to speak!] from my maktab days
namely a lot of treasures from my f4 days in mrsm..
since the whole area had been a lil weather beaten
the stuff looked a lil worse for wear
but they still have the same effect
after all this time
there's the lil bobdog pendant i got for my 17th birthday that was stuck on my birthday card with gud old cellotape
the lil dedications - the chocs, cadbury, toblerone..
the chupa chups, the apples, the cakes.. gawd the cakes!
i still keep the notes from those..
so many memories!
and the pictures..
cld 2002, graduation 2002, gambar homeroom..
a few from the uber memorable cld 2003..
and the piXx with the abangs..
hahha!
the lil notes of encouragement mak sneaks to me
in the lil packages she sends..
and my favourite: the picture i took with the skeleton in the bio lab..
dat still knocks my sox off..
and the secret words written behind photos..
just bursts of memories of how things were..
super cool

just got back from a 3 day 2 nite camp at bukit cahaya
a pre dep programme
despite the skepticism and the utter chuak-ness of goin there solo
i had a great time
basically it was different in the sense
that it isnt exactly whut i thot it'd be like
i've never congregated with a group of so many incredible people
its funny really
these people are medical students
future engineers etc
all overseas students
guys ur mum wished u wud want to end up with
gurls so intelligent and worldly
they're almost too good to be true
almost
im still fascinated by the fact
that such a life exists in a place as far away as uk or ireland
these people are heck of a lot more accomplished and wise
when it comes to matters of religion and its derivatives
as opposed to their peers in local universities
strange
and they were all super cool and frenly
although one particular person kinda made things
a lil too complicated for me
but fret not
no offence taken
but my point is
i could have selisihed with em sumwhr in downtown kl
or anywhr for that matter
and not know
about the realness behind them
i guess the same goes with me
and with everyone else
whuts inside is completely invisible
and it isnt a primary concern for anyone to knoe
kinda made me think
like, u knoe
im gonna be a student soon
a future doctor
and i spose it kinda striked me dat
i shud start to act like one
and not be bullish bout really useless things
like how i usually am right now
of course
might just be a preliminary thought
que serra serra *seem to be overusing this l8ly..*
in a way
it makes u feel small
not small, really
just makes u knoe where u r
and dats dat
anyways it was all fun~!
kudos to kump 1 for being the best *hell yeah* group..
and for rumah melaka mates for letting me have two nights of fun and sleep [or lack thereof]..
