we had yet another iftar at astra hall
this time it was a lil more colourful
with loads of familiar faces
and another truckful of pleasant memories
like our botswanan fren dudu wearing the hijab
and meeting all those long lost faces

ekin, sarah wong, sarah sukhdeo n i decided to bkak puasa at dun laoghaire
it turned out pretty cool, considering we were kinda fuckd up
and tired and all
but it was fun.
we had fish and chips
and had ice cream
very nice.

i had my first irish holiday
n it was to cork!
it was coolness
we left on friday, n had to bkak puasa on the bus
spent all of saturday indoors learning to cook and entertaining people
it was good tho, coz i was not feelin too well
and we spent sunday shopping!
woot woot
kinda wished we did a bit more of sightseeing
but i figured it was fun anyways

it was grand.
luvly.
and every similar other seemingly irish adjective u could think of.
in a nutshell,
first present: a choc bar from a stranger
first card: from sab! n its from malaysia!
first wish: from mak n akak through googletalk
best moment: blowing the relightable candles on the cake that never made it into the pictures and the 2nd round of happy birthday when the clock finally struck 12.
best surprise: padraig dropping by for all of two minutes.
best idea: 200 balloons?
earliest guests: min, angela and friends tie with et, nad, syah and ada.
latest guests: the sarahs
number of guests: an estimate of bout 70?
best food: mary's rice crispie buns
most creative gift: syawal's empty card raya complete with stamp and envelope all ready to be sent back home.
best part: the dancefloor..
fave gift: the chocs *bliss*, the emerald top and the jewellery.
best guests: everyone?!

Tis pix from ISOC’s iftar at astra hall in UCD Belfield.
The food was okay-lah.
Ekin and I managed to wrangle a huge second helping to share with the rest of our tablemates.
We had to queue for a 2nd time so dat was a laugh.
We helped with cleaning up and chit chatted with some really nice seniors from Trinity and RC.
Nice night. Definitely.

I dyed my hair red using those washable sprays I got from those goodie bags at Claire’s.
Which eventually DID wash off after approximately 5 subsequent grueling washes.
It did look nice, tho.
All in all, im not a red kinda person.
Sue me for my moments of gedikness.

today ekin, sarah and i
took a walk
to the uber gorge iveagh garden
oh-so-close to earlsford terrace
hard to believe such a pretty sanctuary
is smack behind our relatively dinghy medical school
anyways we kinda went crazy
danced
ran
piccied
and seeing how it was friday. and since we were feeling gedik.
we were doin all dat in our baju kurungs.
sangat weird.
anyways don be surprised if the pix arrive at salam aidilfitri. lols!
